1.4567 alloy is, unlike 1.4560, resistant to intergranular corrosion in delivery condition and after welding; 1.4567 has also better resistance to corrosion in some reducing acid environments (e.g. contaiting H2SO4) than 1.4307. It is not resistant to halogen compounds and acids, such as hydrofluoric acid. To achieve maximum chemical resistance, the steel should be in annealed condition and elements should be passivated.
