Relevance

Mark 03H18N11 relates to austenitic chromium-nickel steel. It is relevant in chemical engineering in the production of welded pipes and tanks in contact with boiling 70% nitric acid, 45−80% HNO 3 at t ° 80−140 ° C, and for parts resistant to adipic acid, ammonium nitrate, nitrous gases in the environment, at t ° up to 80 ° C. Production

Steel is melted in an open electric arc furnaces, induction furnaces vacuum while using low carbon ferro-alloys.
